Lucky number 7

So it is official – the next version of the Desktop Operating system from Microsoft will not be Windows Vista R2 or Windows Vista reloaded – instead – Windows 7. Wow – marketing genius there . I am looking forward to getting my hands on this at PDC 2008 – in about 10 days time in Los Angeles.

Of course the renaming of the next version of the desktop OS then means that VistaPCGuy.net will be outdated – so you will be able to come to this blog via Windows7PCguy.net or windowspcguy.net. Further to that at some point in the future there will be a revamp of the site – to officially be renamed to a more accurate name – in the meantime and into the future you will still see the same style of content that you currently see – just that it will include Windows 7 as well as Windows Vista (and some Windows 2008 thrown in for good measure!)
